I have the same red thats progressing in my big tank. I was thinking it was some of cyano but that doesnt make sense it would be everywhere.

There hasn't been much to update recently, but I finally got a peppermint shrimp and it has started taking out aptasia.

 

That's a good thing. I also picked up a little colony of Zoas so those and the ricordia seem to be doing well so far.

Slow and steady seems to be paying off.

I would keep an eye on the peppermint, though they can help with Aptasia, I've watched them pick at corals as well.
