aldive
How does one go about dividing ( fragging ) a rock covered with Yellow Polyps? Thanks in advance..... Link to comment

yoshiod9
is it just me...or does anyone else really dislike yellow polyps? what i do to divide my zoos is simply do as kool advised and break the rock up. make sure that none of the yellow polyps have any 'runners'...if they have some...just cut the connection with a razor or something....then smash away! pyrrhus
or lay another rock against the current colony and wait for a little while for them to bridge the gap. Link to comment

yOyOYoo
I like yellow polyps actually. Don't seem to bother my zoas. I keep them far from everything else though... as for breaking the rock, you can try a PVC cutter, works much better than hammer and chisle. Link to comment
birdman204
Grrrrrr.. yellow polyps sting everything except my clam in my tank and killed my trachyphyllia. Grrrrrrrr..... Link to comment
yoshiod9
oi...so birdman...you're telling me that those bastards are the reason my monti dig looks like crap on one side(one of the yellow polyps tentacles can just barely reach the base of the frag)....sweet...now i have more reason to rip them outta my tank.
