Pink Thing?

Okay, this from the top looks like a semi-clear-pink bubble... but, from the side it almost looks like its the top of something? maybe a mushroom or something?? There are also small darker pink veins running thru it sorta...

 

I touched it with a stick and it feels almost like rubber, its solid, but i could squeeze it if i wanted to....?

 

anyone know??

could be something good, probally not, and not a shroom imo though.

 

probally algae, in which case i wouldn't recommend squeezing it. better to remove the rock and take care of it out of the tank. Bubble algae, as with most types, will spread its spores in the water if busted in the tank.

as it stands, im still just gunna wait it out. lol... may as well...

i had some green valonia algae once *cough* once. it was tough. like a rubber ball sort of. you could pop it if you squeezed enough.

 

try taking another shot of it a little clearer if you can. you might not have a macro settigng but you can angle a camera through a magnifing glass and achieve similar shots.
