loyalhero90
If a tank crashes will the macroalgae die? I thought my tank crashed a few months ago but the macros are seriously growing really fast and healthy. The snails are doing okay also. Link to comment
Subsea
Different types of crashes produce different indicators. A recent study involving grazing sea turtles in the macro flats in a Mexican lagoon, pointed to the fact that after Caulerpa went sexual, the new growth was the highest in nutritional content. The turtles were keenly aware of this as they grazed on new growth only. Link to comment
keydiver
ll the die-off from the more sensitive invertebrates probably loaded your water column with nutrients, which the macros are loving. As long as they've got flow, lighting, and nutrients, they will continue to thrive. Link to comment
