WisconsinNano
I got my order thanks. Media and fuge baskets installed in seconds and look great. My tank is wrapping up it's initial cycle. The bc29 HQI was bought used and doesn't have the sponge to protect the return pumps propeller. Should I add a filter bag (or something else) to the bottom of the fuge basket before I add the macro algae? My concern is keeping the return pumps propeller clear of junk. thanks Link to comment
G_Beck_87
Yes i would definatly get a replacement sponge b4 using macro. I use chaeto and if i take mine out with out shutting down the pump it shoots a bunch of free floating chaeto particles all over my tank. Link to comment
inTank
Hello I would recommend a sponge if you are running a fuge to protect the pump. I'm sure you can find something locally that you can cut to fit. If not we have these that can be cut to fit http://shop.mediabaskets.com/Solana-Replacement-Foam-Pads-CU07135.htm GO PACK GO Link to comment
