Hey stevie,

 

i used your media basket in my BC 14 and loved it, now that i have upgraded to a BC29 I wanted to put a protein skimmer in the back middle chamber as you display on your website but instead of using a media basket in the same chamber I wanted to use the fuge basket. I havent ordered yet because i wanted to ask you if using the water flow director normally used for the media basket will work on the top of the fuge basket. Also, will running chaeto before the skimmer just send all of my pods into the skimmer and kill them???

Hi Dave. We highly recommend against using the fuge basket along side a skimmer. But if you want a fuge only use the media basket instead. It will contain the cheato correctly and prevent the skimmer from clogging.
