was hunting on craigslist for a 75g or 90g 48"long tank that was, or could have the bottom drilled to fit in a corner were nothing H.O.B whould fit so down was my only option n pluming.

so i stumbled onto an add that had just been posted about a 75g with stand. Long story short the guy had no clue what the "plastic things" were in the bottom of the tank, his roommate had used it for turtles for a few months i was told. he then told me if i come get it and the stand that weekend i could have it for $40!

I made the little over an hr drive and came home with this gem.

One side was painted black, overspray was all over the trim and stand..looks like all three sides were black at one point, the bulk hads were total crap. but i left them in to leak test the tank with vinger water.

I replaced them quickly after the fill with a 1" and a 1/2"

This is the set up i have for the sump, eshoops 100 in sump skimmer, mag 7 return. 250w heater.

flex tube for the return line with a union and ball valve at the bulkhead. over flow will be a hard line. with a durso stand pipe.
