greentreepython
In your opinion, what are the chances of brown acros coloring back up under proper lighting and calcium levels. Currently have 250 hqi 15k, and calcium around 420 to 445. There are several at a LFS that are under lit, but they have only been there for a week, just wondering if its possible to save these animals, or is it to late. Link to comment
corey0613
if they are wild colonies then most likely they will color up pretty nice. it can take up to 6 months though. try to look really close and see if you can distunguish an under lying color, many times you can. if the price is right i say go for it. greentreepython
Yeah prices range from 15 to 35 for small porites, and table acros, the price, is low because I think they have been passed up for quite a while, do too their not too desirable color, Maybe I'll give it a shot. Link to comment
USFnano
They should color back up, it'll take time though Link to comment
discusking86
while it is true that if they are a colourful type of acropora that they will colour up, but just be sure that the species of acropora yuou get is not naturally brown, b/c sadly it will never colour up Link to comment
