Cheato and no Light

My Refugium Light went out yesterday and I am getting new lights shipped to me hopefully tomorrow. How long can Chaeto be without light before it starts dying? Will it be ok without light until tomorrow or Wednesday?

Should be fine, but you can put any kind of light over it in the meantime.

I removed all the cheato from my tank over a month ago, tossed it in a bucket with old change water, put a lid on it and forgot about. I looked the other day and the cheato is still alive.
