LED / MH Combo

I have 1 AI Sol Blue ramped up to 100% on all 3 colors. This is over a standard 29 gallon and it is just barely enough for some of my acros. I'm in the process of upgrading to a 40B and I'm considering supplementing the light with 2 FishNeedIt 150 watt MH fixtures on each side of the AI sol, slightly angled medially. I'm thinking the MH fixtures will be on about 6 hours per day then LED the rest of the time. Would I be better off just buying a second AI Sol Blue unit?
