Nassarius or Whelk

I just purchased my first Maxima. But realized I never got my snails identified first, DOH! I have three of what I purchased as "Nassarius" and wanted to confirm. They do burrow in the sand 99% of the time and are fast moving across sand leaving a slim trail.

Thanks that what I thought, the behavior is also fitting of a Nassarius just had a small panic and wanted to be sure! Lol

I pulled all three from the tank tonight. They usually aren't all out but tonight all three were close to the clam. Call my paranoid buy when one of the trunks touched the mantle it was "bye bye" to the snails.
