fwadiver
pretty sure i have some plating coralline growing in my tank now, not sure if i should encourage it or try and get rid of it. Thought it was a patch of cyano at first, but its obviously calcifying. Link to comment
lakshwadeep
If it's really coralline, then there's no real worry. They will help crowd out pest algae. Link to comment
fwadiver
its flaky and is growing the way mushrooms grow on a tree, looks same color as other coralline, doesn't show up in pictures because it just looks like regular coralline, but if you touch it you can tell its there. Link to comment

Wilson@
that actually sounds really cool- consider yourself lucky! i have had a tank with low nitrates and phosphates and all for two years and ive barely had any coralline algae growth! Link to comment
JR!
I'd keep it. Just "trim" it if it becomes a problem Link to comment
