R33 GTR Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Hi i need to make my led array function fast (My coral need them ) and i dont have $$$ to buy the drivers my friend gave me a power supply out of a HP laptop that is 32volt and 750mA can i use that to light up 6 RB and 3 NW the leds are Luxeon Rebels ES from steve. any help will be helpful right now.... Thanks
dormreefer Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 According to Mean Well a 48v/700mA can power up to 14 Cree LEDs, not sure about Luxeon. So I presume a 32V can power 9? Not 100% sure. Shoot Steve an email
R33 GTR Posted October 2, 2012 Author Posted October 2, 2012 a buddy told me that the power supply wont light the leds cuz the steve drivers are 1000ma and the PS is 750ma
