If it doesnt move, it probably is a sponge, but thats only a guess. Hopefully with better close-ups it'll be possible to ID. Link to comment
Saltwater fan Posted August 12, 2002 Share Posted August 12, 2002 Well, from my perspective I'd say it's a sponge of some sort. You said that it doesn't move, nor does it look very lifelike. I'm going to take a stab at it by guessing that it is a sponge. It has either just recently grown atop your rock or maybe it just simply chose now to become visible. But you don't have to take my word for it. Once again, it's just my guess. Link to comment
