pudge_167
I got a six line wrasse Saturday and was feeding him with the pumps on and he was darting everywhere. So I turned pumps off and everything was so stagnant looking and depressing lol. Which of these feeding methods is best to use? Link to comment
seabass
What you don't want is for the food to immediately get filtered out. Overflows, HOB filters, skimmers can be shut off. If your livestock can catch the food, you can leave the circulation pumps on if you wish (most do fine with the pumps on). However, sometimes it's necessary to target feed an animal (coral or otherwise), then you might need to have the pumps off when target feeding. Link to comment
