10 gallon reef lighting ideas

Hey guys i was wondering what (affordable) fixture you would reccommend for lighting a ten gallon reef. thanks

Might not cover it all, but you could try 1 Par38...

+1. You can go with a DIY but 1 or 2 par bulbs is easiest. 1 is enough depending on your preference and scape but 2 would work better for edge to edge brightness.

I've got one Par38 (LEDTRiC Full Spectrum) over mine, but would be happier w/two Par30s I think. I may build a stand with PVC for a 2-3 bulb setup one of these days.

Always DIY. Or get 2 par38 bulbs.

But DIY is much cheaper.

PC lights, especially those are useless with the technology of LEDs, T5HO, and MH

You could grow shrooms, GSP, maybe some palys, perhaps some interesting things like majanos or rock flower anemones with those.

You could get a 20" fishneedit or Odyssey fixture and put ATI from bulkreefsupply.com bulbs in it.

I use a Current USA 2x24 T5HO fixture with a Giesemann Actinic+ and an ATI 12000k bulb, and it's a great combo for softies and most LPS. Inexpensive, too.
