Dead Blenny

ok, I just got my blenny back from a friend who was sitting him over the summer and he was SKINNY. Veeery skinny. I think what had happened was when the tank was fed, the clownfish was eating all the food and the blenny was slowly starving.

So yesterday after a couple of days for him to settle in, I throw in some Formula 2 medium pellets and he shows little interest in them, kinda biting them and spitting them back out, and this morning I wake up to a dead blenny.

The thing is, his stomach is HUGE like, he tried to eat every last pellet until he literally stuffed him self to death, and all his fins are completely extended. Its as if some one filled him like a balloon.

Just trying to figure out what the heck happened!
