awpong Posted August 31, 2012 Share Posted August 31, 2012 There are two types of blastos. Wellsi and merletti. Wellsi blastomussas are encrusting, while merletti are branching. I believe the merletti splits like a frogspawn or candy cane, but I wouldn't really compare it to a mushroom. Link to comment
