partrobot
Hi, have a couple of hard corals that I'm trying to identify. Tried asking the LFS where I got them but they didn't know. The second one has bleached a bit but seems to have stabilized. Want to find out what that one is in particular so I can better take care of it. Thanks! Link to comment
fretfreak13
The first one I believe is a chalice (and a very pretty one!), but I'm not sure on the second. Let someone else chime in, confirm that ID from me, and let you know about the other. lol Link to comment
GokesReef
Second looks like an angry hydnophora, maybe. Link to comment
patback
Chalice and a weird shaped frg of dead Favia. Link to comment
Bongo Shrimp
First one is undoubtedly a cyphastrea and second looks like a montipora with its polyps closed up. Link to comment
partrobot
Thanks everyone. Think bongo shrimp is right Link to comment
altolamprologus
Agreed with bongo. The monti is most likely an M. vietnamensis or at least a closely related species Link to comment
