Upgrading my 10g lighting

Hey everyone!

I've been debating an upgrade in lighting on my 10g. I'm currently running a 96w powerquad. I was hoping to upgrade to MH in the near future but am not sure what wattage and kelvin ratings would be best for me.

I have been looking at the AquaMedic 20K 250 DE Ocean Light Pendant. I think I want to stick with a DE style because of the greater PAR output as compared to a SE. Has anyone had any experience with this light?

I'm very open to suggestions and all your help is appreciated.

Some information about my tank and its inhabitants:

Tank is ~1 year old

10g AGA

~15# Live Rock

~20# Live Sand

2 Ocellaris Clowns

1 Yellow Watchman Goby

10 various snails

2 Hermits

Corals:

GSP

Zoo's

Mushrooms

Tubastrea

Red Lobos Brain

Frogspawn

2" Maxima Clam

A 250watt is a little over the top for a 10gallon...a 150watt at say...20,000K would be fine. I wouldnt run a 250SE on anything less than a 20gallon...a 250DEon much less than a 25 0r 29g. Considering the outputs of 250wattDEs rival those of 400watters...just think about it...400watts over a 10gallon? Waaaaay overkill...

I use some 70wattDEs for my 10gallons...one is 10,000K paired with a 36wattPCactinic...and the other is a stand alone 15,000K. I am prolly going to replace the 15,000K with a 150wattDE 20,000K...but thats it.
