12g tank, cycling for 3 weeks already and using eheim liberty 150, 2x15w fl, antinic and white, rotating powerhead,

i bought more rocks already, will post pic of update soon:P

No. The water is pushed through a 'turbine' which turns a gear that turns the powerhead. The speed of the the rotating head is dependent on the water flow going through. Petsmart had these on sale for cheaper than any other powerhead.

 

Careful about getting floating sand into it however... It can quickly jam the gearing. Luckily, its easy as pie to clean out.

when i turned on my skimmer , only for a few seconds it already started skimming this much (using berlin air-lift)

How do you like your rotating powerhead? I am thinking about getting one (the 125 gph) and it is being sold for about 31 dollars. How much gph is yours? How much did you get it for? Where?
