ironlungz Posted August 3, 2012 Share Posted August 3, 2012 I remodeled and added some rock in and ended up with a phosphate spike. I have been using phosban with the media bag for a week now and the phosphate is still around 1.0-1.5. Also threw in some chaeto. So, i dont know why my phosphate isn't going down. I can definitely see algae starting to coat everything. Any advice on whats going with my tank? Maybe the rock i added is leakin phosphate. Should i throw in some turbos to keep the algae in control? 6g jbj nano. Link to comment
Rollermonkey Posted August 3, 2012 Share Posted August 3, 2012 Sounds like you've ID'ed the problem yourself. The LR is probably leaching phosphates. Either deal with the repercussions of the elevated levels, or take the rock back out.... Link to comment
