its been a little while since i've updated. i've been battling GHA and just got a reactor for Christmas and im getting some GFO to help combat it. I've also reduced my lighting schedule. corals are doing ok. the SPS haven't been doing so hot, im assuming my PO4 problems. my plate is loosing a little tissue, i've read direct feeding can help so i'll try that. all other LPS are doing great. my BGM chalice is growing like crazy. i also picked up a huge purple watermelon chalice and nice red/blue chalice this weekend. both look awesome. the GBTA still hasn't moved since going in the tank so that's another plus.

here are some crappy iPhone pics

I brought my camera in today to take some pics. Still battling this stupid algae so please excuse it in the pics. Its seems to be getting a bit better. Corals are looking good and getting nice color and growth. I had a blasto frag from last spring that really hasn't been doing much then about a month or two ago it starting popping out heads, i think there's about 6 little heads around the large three. my orange acan sprouted 3 new heads. my chalice is doing great and popping out a few new eyes. my zoas are looking awesome. the hawaiian pack i got are looking good too. my sps are starting to show some nice colors but not too much growth.

only problem with live stock is as i type this my GBTA is moving around the tank

thanks! i actually traded a small frag of rainbow monti for it. it was about half that size to start with, maybe 10heads. it's really taken off in the last few months.

It's again been awhile since I've updated. Tank is chugging along. I picked up a few cool new corals recently, a nice acan echinata, large bi-color frogspawn, nice pink acro, a blue pastel war coral, and a cool no name chalice. I had some issues last month when I went out of town, got a weird dead spot in the middle of my mystic sunset monti and my tri-color bleached out. The other SPS were looking bad but have since bounced back. I'm going to place my order for my 90g in about 2 weeks and I've got another AI Sol on the way.

She's beautiful! Thats too bad shes the only one left. I have a 75 gal freshwater tank with a rotkeil Severum, leopard bush fish, chocolate cichlid, zig zag eel, Senegal bichir, and a synodontis cat. It's a very peaceful tank.

I use to have a nice pair of severums(gold and rotkeil), a group of festivus, about a dozen bichirs, and an awesome datnoid. i ended up selling everything but the psittacus

Wow you must have had a lot if tanks! I definitely spend more time on my reef tank now. But I still love my freshwater fish :)

Not too many. Most fish were in my 125g, which I sold, and the severums in a 75g. Luckily I was able to keep my reef at my office at work
