Grumblecakes
I have a sponge(s) growing on my clams shell. ive scraped part of it away and the shell looked the same as the rest of the clam (mostly covered in coraline). is it safe to assume that the sponge is NOT a rock boring one if there is no change to the shell( ie not white)? its been on the clam for a while now Link to comment
altolamprologus
Rock boring sponges will almost without a doubt not make it into your tank. And if they did, you wouldn't know it because they would be inside the rock with only a very tiny amount sticking out. You just have one of the many thousand species of harmless sponge.
