Justabeginner Posted May 5, 2004 Share Posted May 5, 2004 Hi all Well after being a lurker over the past 12 months or so, dropping in to find ideas for my nano, I thought I better do the right thing and register, so here I am! My nano has been set up for just over 12 months now. It was one of those really pathetic starters, just a couple of rocks and a clownfish, now it is pretty full on! Mind you, not as much as some of the other tanks on this board but doing pretty well! http://community.webshots.com/user/justabeginner This webpage of mine has all of my photo albums, including the marine one obviously, lol I update it as much as I can, putting in captions where appropriate. Specs are: The tank is a 2ft, 65L Lighting - 18000K powerglo, actinic blue, 5000k metal halide Filtration - wouldn't have the faintest how much lr is in there!!! Millenium 2000, counter current protein skimmer 800lph powerhead connected to a pipe which circulates the water through half the tank along the top Inhabitants: Smaug - the tomato clown 3 peppermint shrimps 1 lysmata amboinense hermit crabs Corals: open brains small polyp bubble coral corallimorphs - at least 6 different 'types' / colours fungia plate coral favites brain coral scolymia leather coral buttons gnarly brain coral Not too sure about the scientific names of the corals I have, this is the name that they were sold to me as.
