theDude
It's been four months and I havn't killed everything yet! Here are a couple of the digital pics I just took. I'll have some more in a couple days. This is the first good shot I've been able to get of my ric. It seems to me not many people do tank shots from the side so here you go. full tank shot You gotta love ricordia under actinics! some star polyps and my branching alveopora Go easy on the pic quality, I was using a Kodak DX3500 for these and had to clean them up in Photoshop . theDude
Yeah, that heater is killing me. I almost finished with a HOB refugium that is tall enough to hold the heater. I've had the alveopora for about 6 weeks. Tank: 10 gallon 9 lbs of LR 1.25 inch sandbed 175 watt 10000K metal halide 18 watt actinic air-powered auto top-off Inhabitants: 1 blue neon goby 1 scarlet skunk cleaner shrimp 1 sexy shrimp (The firefish in the second pic is no longer with us. I left the hood open for 10 minutes so he decided to try carpet surfing and couldn't get the hang of it .) 2 scarlet reef hermits 5 astrea snails 1 ricordia with 3 mouths so it should be splitting very soon 2 polyps of sun coral More xenia than I know what to do with 1 branching alveopora 3 different types of star polyp 1 small piece of montipora digitata some green/brown zoos some red zoos that are being taken over by the green/brown Link to comment
