Snapper Posted July 8, 2012 Share Posted July 8, 2012 What kind of pump should I buy to do water changes and to add water? I was told Maxi-Jets are great for water changes but not sure if I need the power head or the utility pumps? What do you guys use? Link to comment

For ex. the powerhead is in your bucket of water, than run a hose to the sump and basicaly dump it in there? do you take water from the DT or the sump for your changes? and to put itback which one do you put it in?
