M&C
I'm just wondering approximately how many inches wide by how many inches long the in-tank part of the Tunze Osmolator is. I don't have a sump on my tank, so it's going in the display. I want to make sure it won't take up a ton of room before I buy it. Thanks. Link to comment
M&C
Bump. Just asking for a rough estimate... no need to break out the measuring tape Thanks! Link to comment
AZDesertRat
You might consider the UPLC-II. As you can see in the photos, it has a single clear tube about 3/4" x 4" long and thats it. If you want the extra safety it has the float switch too which takes up just slightly more room. http://www.spectrapure.com/St_alc_p7.htm Programming is as simple as pressing a button and its up and going. reeftankguy
Both sensors for my Tunze are mounted on a Magnetic card that measures 3" x 1.5" Nothing out there is less obtrusive than the Tunze imo Link to comment
doppelganger
The magnet on the inside is approximate 2.5" (assuming you go with 1 magnet and run both sensor and switch on the same one). The float switch is the fattest part sticking out from it so the depth you're probably looking at probably just under 2" but you may want to allow for at least 2-2.5 inches incase.
