winnker Posted May 3, 2004 Share Posted May 3, 2004 I had to take fish out of my 20 gal. reef that I had put in there too soon, I had to move all the live rock and my fish guy had set the rock up. he won't be able to stop over again for a few weeks to set the rock back up . I have only 4 corals, a toadstool, a devils hand and green star polyps and button polyps. now when I was done moving hte tank there were stringy like things in the water. and I don't know how to stack the rock very well so its looking really bad. any sugegstions on how to stack the rock better? birdman204 Posted May 8, 2004 Share Posted May 8, 2004 You can pick up some underwater epoxy from some local fish stores. try that. If not, are the corals attached. take a big bag, take the rock out of the water. stack em like legos, and then stack them the same way in the tank. I also prefer to do aquscaping w/o sand, that way the rocks are FIRM on the bottom, no shifting. Then put the sand in around them. Keeps from packing the sand down also. Link to comment
