yOyOYoo Posted May 2, 2004 Share Posted May 2, 2004 You might not want to add GSP as your first coral, since sometimes they may get picky and take a long time to come out. You might just end up with a bunch of purple stumps for a week - 2 weeks before they decide to come out. I'd get some mushrooms or zoas or xenia, instant gratification and easy to take care of! Undertheradar Posted May 5, 2004 Share Posted May 5, 2004 shrooms are easier, and do an excellent absorbtion of nitrates, as do xenia, but I wouldnt consider xenia a starter coral. I think GSP is a fine first coral. Link to comment
