purple firefish Posted May 1, 2004 Share Posted May 1, 2004 Just wondering if anybody had an opion about those orbit PC lamps that are 50/50 daylight being half 6500k and half 10000k and also their 50/50 actinic once again being half 420nm and half 460nm. I was thinking about replacing my 10000k pc and actinic with these bulbs. I was thinking you would get a little better growth from the corals having the 6500k in there without being totally yellow. purple firefish Posted May 1, 2004 Author Share Posted May 1, 2004 Also I was wondering if using three pc retros of each 65 watts to use one 6500K one actinic and one 50/50 10000k and actinic would be better or if you think it would be a little yellow. I am looking to get better growth from PC and was thinking the 6500 K would do a better job but I don't want the tank to look yellow. Link to comment
