Clownfish getting ready to spawn

Well I notice the male rubbing and nipping on a spot on the rocks yesterday and today it's almost constant.im 95% sure this is spawning behavior because the female is joining him

Once in a while and it's always the same exact spot right by the anemone.

It's been 2 days so far of them Doing this.

When should I expect them to lay eggs?

Sometime between now and next year. Seriously, some clown pairs will clean like that for months and months before finally spawning. You never know until it happens.

I agree, I've had mine for 3 years and they've been doing the cleaning and twitching thing for a good year now without ever laying eggs.
