glazer
Anyone ever do this? I wanna keep the inside of tank as equipment free as possible... Every info section for Maxi's (on websites selling them) says they can be used either way, in or out of the tank. Buuut going through the instruction sheets for the ones I already own it says nothing whatsoever about this. I want a good flow rate but not the big powerhead in the tank... any other brands or sites you can direct me to that have external use pumps that I don't have to sell plasma to afford...lol Link to comment
dattack
Well people sell calcium reactors and kalk reactors that run the maxijet externally without problems. Link to comment
Sahin
I have Maxi-jets 600's and it says in the instructions they can be run out of the tank. Just make sure everything is properly sealed etc. I wanted to go this route as well, but the danger of a leak stopped me. The Maxi-jets are usually the cheapest brand here in the UK, but also one of the best. zzz Link to comment
