DSB3
I was shopping around online last night and I noticed an amazing refugium on this site: http://cheapcorals.com/product_info.php/pr...cc295e035d70931 It is a refugium made by Redmond Reef and it looks amazing. I was wondering if anyone has heard of them or if anyone has one. I looked at the Redmond Reef site and they have quite an impressive amount of info on thier refugiums. Link to comment
nalbar
to expensive. a fuge should be simple, a box to hold water, a pump to pull it in. nalbar Link to comment
USFnano
It's basically just a sump with the center sectioned off for a fuge... nothing new. Many people have diy'd their own. Link to comment
DSB3
They say they have a bubble and plankton seperator that traps bubbles and only allows plankton to pass. How did they do that? Link to comment
Dutch
The only thing amazing about that is someone would waste that much money on it. Seriously thats such a waste of money. Link to comment
joedirt00
The good thing is that they have a decent exploded view so if you wanted one bad enough you probably could DIY one but in ageeement with everybody else, Way expensive. just think what you could actually get for $750-$1250. In the Nano world that could be a killer reef for that price. Link to comment
tinyreef
wow! i'm in the wrong biz. i agree, that's some serious wetdryfilter.com (sponsor) has more choices at better prices. frankly, even wetdry's are still a bit high for me but some people may prefer to have to turnkey done for them rather than diy. (setup diy i don't mind, real diy i'm a klutz) Link to comment
