picoreef Posted April 26, 2004 Share Posted April 26, 2004 im am starting a 5 gallon and i have purchased a dual 9 watt compact flourescent fixture and i was wondering if it is better to putt two 9 watt actinic or one daylight and one actinic.. im planning on keeping polyps, mushrooms and a bubble ,,,, i was wondering if all actinic would discourage ugly green algae while still providing enough light for the corals Link to comment
