Cody Pendant Posted April 26, 2004 Share Posted April 26, 2004 once i placed this (LPS)coral (brain coral)in my system, it began to show signs of bleaching....i moved it so that half of it was under "shade" the part under shade retained its color and looked great....the exposed part began to bleach more... i have it now basically on the bottom of the tank....it's a 55 gallon, with a brand new 48" orbit fixture (4 65 watters, 6700 and 10,000 mixed with 2 mixed actinics...) before that i had 36" coralife pcs 2 96 watters, 10,000k.... i think he hates light, anyone else found this to be true??
