Mattie's 20 was such an inspiration I decided to clean up my tank and take some fresh pics for everyone. I haven't done a portfolio of my tank for almost a year now so a lot has changed and grown. Started the tank in the Bay Area and made the long haul down to Pomona where I go to college and live in the dorms. I have to break the tank down twice a year traveling between Nor and So-Cal which is a pain. I hope you enjoy the pics!

Maintenence

Daily:

-Feed fish Ocean Nutrition formula 1 & 2 flakes, and frozen Prime Reef

-Magnet scrub the glass

-Dose Phyto and Coralvite

Weekly:

-Fill top off reserve w/ RO and Kalk

-Clean off float switch

-Dose lugols iodine & Strontium

-Check paramters

Monthly:

-Clean skimmer & Powerhead

-Wipe salt-creep

-2 gallon water change

Hows that lion holding up?

The lion does really well with just him and the clown. When I added a hi-fin banded goby he chased after it, so I had to choose between him or the goby. He stares at hermits crawling over the rocks when hes hungry but doesn't eat any.

your lion looks more like a Hawaiian turkey fish....your tank looks nice....
