Noonan
The only thing that I haven't kept is corals. What has to be done in order to keep corals? I plan on getting a JBJ Nano Cube and keeping the lighting stock. What kind of additives do I need to add? Do they have to be dripped or can they just be added to the water? Anything you can provide is appreciated. Link to comment
Tempest
"Needs" for corals depends on the corals. Some like low light, some high, some none. Some like phytoplankton some like shrimp. In the nanocube you should stick with softies (mushrooms, zoos, xenia, leather, open brain, etc.) unless you upgrade the lighting. Corals need pristine water conditions, calcium around 400-450ppm, SG around 1.025, magnesium of 1250-1500ppm, the list goes on. Do some reading before buying and figure out what type of corals you want and their needs. You may decide not get the Nanocube. Your basic 10 gallon tank is easier to outfit with equipment.
