What's the difference between bonded vs mated clownfish?

One pair has a bond and the other pair is mating.

One pair likes each other and the other pair really likes each other.

One pair hangs out a bunch the other pair lets it all hang out.

One pair sticks together and the other gets sticky together.

I should add that whenever you inquire about "mated" pairs ask the question specifically about if they had spawned or not. Many people do not know the difference and use the term "mated" to describe a pair. Be clear about what you are getting.

basically bonded means a couple but not having sex .

mated pair means a couple and having babies all over a pot, piece of tile, and or a rock... only difference...
