CoralVue MH retro/uv glass question....

I'm thinking about getting the CoralVue 175w MH retro with a 12000k bulb from Inreef.com.

How is this set-up? it is the cheapest e-ballast I could find. Anyone order from inreef.com before?

also one more question, If I set this system up on my 29g tank along with 2- 20w actinic no bulbs can I run this without UV glass? or do I really have to have the glass to protech the tank?

Thanks

thats good to know, one other question. For 29g is 250w light too much? b/c I can get a better deal on a 250w on another site, so i was thinking about getting that.

It's a 12000k 250w coralvue bulb and electronic ballast.

I've got a a 250w HQI over a 20L if that makes you feel any better. I say go for it, you'll get better light penetration.

impossible. hqi? mogul? you just named 2 totally different lighting socket types and neither have anything to do with the other...

ALL SE (single ended) bulbs have uv coating built into the bulb... mogul is the larger of SE bulbs...
