spunkyfunk Posted April 22, 2004 Share Posted April 22, 2004 i have an open brain coral, which is pretty cool. at night when it closes the hundreds of tiny tentacles come out and i was wondering as long as they are out of reach of my acropora it wont sting it right? i mean,they dont have another defense mechanism right Link to comment
Tempest Posted April 23, 2004 Share Posted April 23, 2004 Open brains are harmless. Just make sure it isn't touching any other coral and you (and he) will be fine. You should feed him a little mysis shrimp or krill a couple of time a week at night (those "tiny tnetacles"are the brain's version of sweeper tentacles). Link to comment
