Hi,

I am new to saltwater aquaria. My 10 gallon is my first saltwater tank.

I've been looking all over and can't ID these creatures. I probably just dont know what to search for.

What are these things with the clear tenacles?

Another picture of the same sort of thing.

What is the fuzzy white growth on the rock between the two oysters?

And what is the cluster of round orange things on the rock below?

thanks,

Craig

yes it appears to be a hard disk with a ring of white spines surrounding a mouth and with several clear tenacles. I saw one of them eat a piece of krill yesterday.

OK #1 and #2 appear to be cup corals according to another thread.

Does anyone know what the clear/whitish fuzzy growth in picture #3 is?

If you mean the thing with white spotted tenacles, I found other pictures in another thread and also on reefcentral and its a cup coral. I do have aipstatia elsewhere in the tank, it looks nothing like this thing. My peppermint shrimp are picking arms off the aipstatia but not killing it, I am going to try Joes Juice I think.
