I was at a pet shop here in omaha

where a friend of mine works and he is a reef

expert, anyway he set me up with some small frags

from the store (for free!)i got some button polyps,a tree coral,4 small green mushrooms

and a couple other things that were not sure about yet.back to the story.

daves girlfriend had a small eclipse 3 gal tank that she had fresh in and wanted to do a small reef with.

so they set it up with some live rock and sand.

dave went ahead and threw some mushrooms,zenia frag and some small sun polyps in it.

i guess there is a compact light that will go in the stock hood,he checked on it and ordered it.

it never came in!

anyway this tank has been running for 8 months

and everything in there is growing(hes taking my digital to get some pics of it).

this is a true story

I am starting mine tommorrow!

live rock,live sand and a stock eclipse setup.

hard to believe but it works.

she does use reverse osmosis water and hasn't tried anything hard just hardy stuff.
