busboy
I have a Via-Aqua 18 gallon tank with the 2x36 watt compact flourescent lamps. The ballast for one of the lamps has given out and I was wondering what commonly available (Home Depot, Lowes) ballast could be used. There are 2 separate ballasts in the case, so probably getting a ballast to power both lamps and doing away with the Via-Aqua will be needed. Overdriving the bulbs would be okay too. There are several threads about the ballast for the 65W bulbs on the different boards but that would be WAY overdriving them. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Mike Link to comment
