bugsy
Hi, I would like to know. If a mushroom opens up and is really flat and wide, is this a sign that it is happy in its location? How do you know when you have happy mushrooms? Bugsy Link to comment
Simbo18
I think it is fine from what you have told us. I find that a mushroom is in need of light when they make a cup shape towards the light and it has too much light/too much current when it is pressed against the rock as much as possible. Yours sounds fine though. Luke Link to comment
s800
Yes, large and "drapey" seems to indicate happiness. If you're concerned, try direct feeding it- that seems to give mine a bit of extra energy to either divide or move somewhere more ideal. Link to comment
bugsy
How do you direct feed? What is the best to feed it? Bugsy Link to comment
s800
For the 'shrooms, I use a (very) long tweezers and drop tiny pieces of tetra tabimin (tablets) on them- especially near the mouth. They appear to transport the food inward, work on it for a few hours and then are very happy. Link to comment
