Have you tried pointing the power head up towards the top corner of the tank?

I haven't. But it seems to be good now. It just moved a bunch of sand to start, but after a couple days there was no more sand storms. But now I feel that there is a lack of flow in the middle of the tank. So I might have to try it pointed up towards the top corner like you said.

Couple small things to update.

My calcium was low, and the 150W halide was too close to the tank, so it started bleaching the coraline white. So I raised the light 6" and everyone seems extremely happy, and I have already noticed some coraline coming back.

Also got a couple zoa frags

Here are some better pics from my iPad. These are more accurate color-wise because I didn't need to use a flash.

Quick update. I have added a few new corals.

Red/Green Blasto frag

Green with Purple center zoas

Green with Orange center zoas

Blue with Purple center zoas

Black with Pink center zoas

Purple Polyp Birdsnest frag

Since these pics were taken, I have also pruned almost all of my halimeda sp. and placed it in my sump. I also removed all but one Kenya Tree. I think I am going to eventually phase out the Kenya Tree's as they are too invasive and drop too many babies.

Now for the Pics!

Im considering a similar build. I was wondering what solvent/adhesive you used to glue the acrylic "bridge" to the plastic part of the edge? I was originally going to use weld on 4. But now I'm not so sure the plastic part of the edge would bond with weld on.

I actually used silicone. It worked well for over a year with no problems. If I did it again, I would probably use weld-on.

Awesome setup you've got going on :)

What's that macro on the side? Looking to get something similar for my tank haha
