Button polyps/frags question.

I know, i ask a lot of questions...sorry

 

I got a frag of brown button polyps from my LFS for free which has 2 polyps attached. I've had them for about 3 weeks and both polyps have been opened and fine at all times..now all the sudden one stays closed and the other remains opened. If it is in fact deceased, should I remove it due to chemical problems that could be caused, or should I leave it and perhaps it will reopen.

I doubt he's dead, those things can take quite a beating. I have had a tank crash and my lights have broken, once and I didn't even lose a single polyp. I would say give it a couple of days.
