like-fish
Anyone have an opion or experiance with carbon coated filter material? I have heard rumors that activated carbon looses its effectiveness when exposed to air. Any truth to that? My huge roll of filter pad is stored in the garage and i am sure was not vacume sealed in the supply house before it shipped. I am cutting pads off and using them as disposable chamber 2 pads for my BC29. Anticipate any problems or concerns? I am rinsing it before use. Its not too dusty. here is the stuff i got: http://www.aquaticeco.com/subcategories/42...Filter-Material Thanks for any and all help. Link to comment
dfcn07
Wow. I would like to know more about these as well. Right now I'm using just acurel filter floss/pads. Replacing them with these would be great. Only thing is that this is pretty pricey. Link to comment
