Tempest Posted April 12, 2004 Share Posted April 12, 2004 Depends on personal preference, size of tank and what you plan on stocking. I've been running a 6 and 10 gallon without either for almost a year. However, I'm putting both on a 20g FOWLR I just set-up. Link to comment

No. Does your need for a refugium or need for a skimmer depend on you using the other listed method? No. Can it influence it? Yes. It depends on the type of tank you want. Link to comment
