airangel Posted April 10, 2004 Share Posted April 10, 2004 Bought a used via aqua 11g thru the classifieds from Kassun. Pics looked great, price was right, but when it arrived, Fed Ex mangled it. They picked up the box the next day, and my claim was filed....claim was rejected twice as they stated it was inadequately packed to survive fed ex's handling of an aquarium. I was at my wit's end...I called and spoke to 2 different agents and the reopened and rejected the case again. All along I had been in contact with the seller who was about as angry as I was over the entire situation. He picked up the phone and continued the fight and he got action...today I received reimbursement from Fed Ex. Seller could have said, well I tried or I packed it as well as I could or could have just dropped out of sight since he got his payment from the sale. I am giving Kassun a *thumbs up* for joining me in the Fed Ex fight and for his help in getting this long (since Jan) drawn out hassle taken care of. Ellen Link to comment
